Andrea Navedo is an American actress who is also a published author. She began her career on the daytime soap operas One Life to Live and Guiding Light and in later years had several support roles on primetime TV. The actress made her debut in film by playing a minor role on the show in Girl 6 (1996) then starred in episodes of New York Undercover and The District. Navedo was as a character in Double Take, an action-comedy film released in 2001. The drama Washington Heights was released the year after. From 2001 to 2004 Navedo played a regular role on the NBC crime drama Law & Order as Detective Ana Cordova. In the following years, he appeared on Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages and Blue Bloods. Navedo also appeared in many films, including El Cantante and Remember Me.
